Appendix B - Caring for the MP-201 Multi-Pedal
Clean your MP-201 Multi-Pedal with a soft, moist cloth only – do not use solvents
or abrasive detergents. Heed all safety warnings. Don’t drop the unit. If you are
shipping your MP-201 Multi-Pedal to the factory for servicing, we recommend using
the original shipping carton, or an ATA approved Road Case. Shipping the Multi-
Pedal in a non-ATA case or packaging other than the original carton will void the
warranty.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SAFETY: Do not open the chassis. There are
no user serviceable parts inside. Maintenance should be referred to qualied
service personnel only.
Appendix C - Footpedal Adjustment
The footpedal is set at the factory to a pre-dened tension, but can be adjusted
to optimize the pedal action to your individual preference.
If you wish to adjust the footpedal tension, switch the Multi-Pedal off and discon-
nect all connections. Flip the Multi-Pedal over and place it on a soft, non-skid
surface. On the bottom, locate the adjustment access hole beneath the footpedal
mechanism. Place the supplied 2.5mm Allen wrench into the adjustment hole and
gently seat the wrench into the hex slot. Once the wrench is rmly seated, slowly
rotate the wrench to make the adjustment. To tighten the footpedal, turn the
wrench clockwise; to loosen the footpedal, turn the wrench counter-clockwise.
For either direction, rotate the wrench only about a quarter-turn and then check
the footpedal tension. Use small, quarter-turn movements, checking the tension as
you go until the desired footpedal action is achieved. Do not over-tighten.
